Vrindavan Bellord

Born and raised in Hawaii, Vrindavan discovered her kuleana—her purpose and responsibility—early on: to protect and serve her community. With a clear vision of pursuing a career in law enforcement, she embarked on a path dedicated to ensuring the safety of others.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Vrindavan joined federal law enforcement, serving as a Deputy U.S. Marshal in both the Southern District of New York and Washington, D.C. Throughout her career she took on diverse roles and worked in specialized units in the Marshals Service, gaining extensive training, experience and expertise in fugitive investigations, warrant operations, protective services, and court security.

Following her career in the Marshals Service, Vrindavan transitioned into high-level security leadership. She served as Security Director and Senior Advisor for a U.S. presidential campaign, overseeing security coordination and close protection for the candidate. She later led the security detail for a U.S. Senator, a role in which she founded Toa Group in 2021 to provide elite security services.

Driven by her deep passion to directly protect and serve the community, Vrindavan expanded Toa Group’s mission, leveraging the team’s vast law enforcement and military expertise to fill critical gaps in public safety. Toa Group now focuses primarily on providing training, tools and expertise to local communities, especially local law enforcement, empowering them to better protect and serve the village.

Vrindavan holds a Master’s degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to safeguarding communities and empowering others through leadership, innovation and a deep sense of service.

“I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live.”
